ErisX, a cryptocurrency exchange platform backed by the likes of Nasdaq and Fidelity Investments, has on-boarded three new staff members to bolster its team ahead of the launch this year according to a press release published on February 7, 2019.

Cryptocurrency exchange platform ErisX announced on February 7, that it would be adding three new staff members to its team. The members include Robert Thrash, Arnold Connell, and John Denza. While Thrash will join the company in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer (COO), Connell and Denza will serve the roles of Head of Infrastructure and Business Development Executive, respectively.
Speaking on the development, Thrash said:

About the Latest Additions to the Team
Thrash, who joins the firm as their COO has an impressive 12-year track record in the world of financial derivatives, prime brokerage, execution services, and trading. In his latest professional stint, Thrash served as the Managing Director and Global Head of Futures Execution Services and Clearing Platform Management at Barclays Investment Bank.
Similarly, Connell brings with him an innovative edge to the project, as he has worked on several cutting edge projects in the past. Before joining ErisX, he worked at YouTube as one of the original creators of YoutubeTV. Connell’s CV also boasts of nine years of experience at Google in various roles and capacities.
ErisX’s latest Business Development Executive recruit, John Denza, has strong knowledge in the world of exchanges and financial technology. Prior to joining ErisX, Denza worked as a Director at Pico Quantitative Trading. He also served as a Director of U.S. Sales Equities and Derivatives at BATS Global Markets/CBOE for ten years.
